Threat of rain worries residents of fire affected areas
The recent fires that ravaged Yorba Linda are now contained but a new threat looms as meteorologists forecast rain in the coming days. After being allowed back into their homes by fire officials and finally taking count of the losses, residents are on edge as the losses they endured could be added to by mudslides expected during the upcoming rains. Rain is expected to reach 2" in the burn areas. It is a welcome sight to many Los Angeles residents who say we need the rain, but is dreaded by the residents of Yorba Linda and other areas ravaged by fire in recent weeks. Sand bags are being offered free of charge at any Yorba Linda Fire Station. For full coverage please visit the Los Angeles local news station CBS2.
